Terry McCaul is Managing Consultant for Vitale Consulting Ltd.

Terry renamed the former Setanta Consulting to Vitale Consulting in November 2015.

Terry has had a long career as a senior manager in telecommunications, financial services , tertiary education, energy and science and technology sectors.  His responsibilities have spanned Operations, Marketing, Total Quality Management, Human Resources and strategic planning. He has led organizational functions, ICT and Knowledge Management, Property, Procurement and Sustainability.

Terry is passionate about organisations developing their own high performance culture rather than trying to adopt someone else's business cultures. He believes this is the key differentiator in a global economy. His work in organisational sustainability through managing culture has been pioneering in NZ and he has been a past judge for both the HRINZ Initiative of the Year Awards and the NZ Business Excellence Awards (Baldrige).  He has presented to several conferences in the past on subjects as wide ranging as Leadership, Values and Managing Culture, and  Organisational Sustainability.

Terry is a trained Company Director and is a member of the NZ Institute of Directors. He is a Certificated Member of HRINZ, and an Associate Fellow of the NZ Institute of Management. He holds an Executive MBA from Massey University. Terry is a former elected director on the board of the Human Resources Institute of NZ (HRINZ) and sat on the HRINZ Research and Publications Committee and the Editorial Board of the NZ Journal of Human Resources Management.

Terry currently sits on the Board of Trustees of the multi-award winning Expressions Whirinaki, Arts and Cultural Centre.
